Rosa Haikarainen (b. 1998) works in studio Aula, supported art studio. Rosa has worked almost daily since Aula’s own art studio was established. Imagination leads Rosa’s pen or paintbrush and the patterns follow each other. Rosa likes especially mixed media and ink works. Rosa has found her own and recognizable, non-figurative style to draw and paint.
During the Corona Pandemic, the Safe Space Series was born, which entered the Kaarisilta Biennale (2021). Rosa says she felt great to see the works on display at the show. Rosa was involved in a special issue of the national comic magazine Kuti and designed a cover photo for it. His works have been included in group exhibitions and the first own exhibition is in 2023.
I am an enthusiastic and calm artist. I make paintings and drawings on my own. Recent works emerged from this pandemic situation, I began to think about it.
