“I started working with art during Porvoo’s civic college’s art course in 2020 and then in Ateljee Eivor in early 2021. Making it started to feel so good that Eivor’s courses also felt interesting. Working is like so: the mind calms down and on sees the handprints of one’s own work. I feel myself good in Atelier Eivor, it feels like I could make this for work. I prefer to make people out of ceramics and I paint nature and animal pictures with acrylic paints on canvas.
Significant projects for me have been Meidän Markkinat (our market) in Turku and the Kaarisilta Biennales which I have participated in twice. Selling art is also important. I hope for the future that I can make works that sell.”
