Tuula Hämäläinen

I usually paint with oil paints and I use time for painting. Sometimes I also paint with acrylic paints or I make pottery and recently I have also done pastel chalk work. I paint animal subjects, especially birds. All natural topics interests me. I think it’s important to think about topics and what colors I want to use. My goal is representativeness and recognizability. I admire the masters of Ateneum and their skill in finding the liveliness in their works. I like everything beautiful. I hope beauty around me and my loved ones through my art.
