Ateljee Eivor is a workspace for artists in need of additional support at the Art Factory in Porvoo.
Ateljee Eivor started supported art activities at Taidetehtas in February 2018. An artist in need of special support needs guidance and help to be able to do his/her artistic work. Support is practical help with materials and tools, as well as taking care of matters related to art activities, such as guidance in applying for exhibition times and grants.
Six-week working periods are organized for the ateljee’s artists, where certain days of the week are reserved for making art. The work is guided and assisted by a professional artist, and the development of the artists is strengthened by visits to art exhibitions and galleries. In the planning of the working days, relatives and parties producing day activities and housing services are consulted.
The artists of Ateljee Eivor come from the Porvoo, Pornainen and Järvenpää regions.
